Recently my Uncle Mike did some research on brands registered by our family members. His research was done at the Sam Houston Regional Library where he found records dating back to 1876. The Liberty County Courthouse and all it's records were destroyed in a fire in December of 1874. The following is the result of his research list by family name and date. He then used what he found to have a quilt made by my cousin Betty Key which you can see in the two photos on each side of this paragragh. At the bottom of this page is related links to brands, Liberty county and the Sam Houston Regional Library.
